Just what is a micropenis ?
If you think a micropenis is something you buy for your character in an online game via microtransaction, you’d be wrong. A micropenis is actually a very real and debilitating condition that can strike men worldwide, regardless of nationality.
The condition can often be diagnosed shortly after birth, or at a very young age. While micropenises can vary slightly in size, they’re typically 2-3 times smaller than an average sized penis, measuring in at just a few centimeters in length.
What exactly the cause of micropenis syndrome is not entirely known for sure, though it’s suspected that much lower than needed levels of testosterone at birth and throughout the formative process are to blame. In other cases the cause of micropenis syndrome is something else entirely, being the result of a much broader growth deficiency, which results in shorter height and smaller features.
The syndrome is not exceedingly rare either, being more common than most people might imagine. It affects about 0.6% of the male population, or about 1 in every 180 men. Naturally, the men who suffer from this condition must deal with heightened stress and tension, and while they may be able to live a relatively normal life and even father children (through either traditional sex, or in vitro fertilization), their lovemaking will largely be devoid of physical pleasure. They may also have trouble peeing while standing up.

One of the most common treatments for the syndrome is to embark upon a growth hormone treatment plan at birth or early in the child’s growth, which could help offset the cause of micropenis syndrome. The use of growth hormones is still not widely accepted as safe though, especially for use with children, and is therefore discouraged by many doctors.
Another alternative for adults still dealing with micropenis syndrome is to purchase a penis enhancement device. Just as they work to enhance the size and production of a regular sized penis, so too can they be used to minimize the effects of micropenis syndrome. While a traction device will not enlarge a micropenis to above average length, it will certainly improve its length somewhat, making life much easier for the recipient.
Call it a little cure for a big problem !
