The first step to accurately measure your penis is consistency. If you’re not measuring in exactly the same way every time, you’ll invariably end up with different results (and in the event you are experiencing dramatically differing measurement results over time, it’s almost certain that you aren’t being consistent).

To do this, the ruler must be placed in the exact same spot each time, and the penis must be measured at its most flaccid.

To accurately measure from the same spot each time, the most common trick used is to press the ruler slightly into your pubic bone, which will give you a firm point to measure from each and every time.

This also helps avoid an issue that could arise when measuring from the fat pad, that being that the pad may shrink or expand over time, affecting your results in a way that isn’t consistent with the actual way in which the penis is growing.

As mentioned, the penis must also be measured while completely flaccid, but this is only one facet of the equation. Our penises after all are a complex and sensitive organ, one which changes and adapts to environmental and bodily changes quite rapidly. It shrinks from the cold like a frightened turtle, and expands slightly when hot. As such, you should always measure your penis under similar environmental conditions as well for the most accurate results.
